It was just me sitting on a bench, in front of a body of water when this black being, almost like full of life sat next me. I did not acknowledge it, so then another while being came and sat down as well. They merged into one and became my ex, which I still talk to oftenly. I was very upset that he was in my dream, so I asked him what was he doing there. He responded saying it was the only way he could tell me this message. When he started to say this partcular message, everything went on mute. I could not hear him anymore. All of a sudden I feel this arm on my shoulder pulling me away and i look at him and he says 'not yet'. Not in the sense of don't leave, but in the sense of i couldn't hear him yet. and that hand on my shoulder almost dragged me out teh dream and i woke up suddently being left confused.
Dreams can often reflect our inner thoughts, emotions, and unresolved issues. Here’s a possible interpretation of your dream:
Body of Water: Water often symbolizes emotions and the subconscious mind. Sitting in front of a body of water may indicate that you're in a contemplative state, considering your feelings, particularly regarding your ex and the impact they have on you.
Black Being: The black beings could represent aspects of yourself or your relationship that you find difficult to confront or acknowledge. The fact that you did not acknowledge them may indicate your reluctance to face emotions or issues surrounding your past relationship.
Merging into Your Ex: This merging could symbolize the strong connections and unresolved feelings you might still have for your ex. It may highlight how their presence still influences your current emotional state.
Message and Muteness: The ex saying he had a message for you suggests there’s something unresolved or a lesson tied to your past relationship that you need to understand. The muteness might indicate feelings of frustration or difficulty in communication—perhaps there are unresolved issues that you haven’t fully processed.
Arm on Shoulder and "Not Yet": The hand on your shoulder can signify protection or guidance. The phrase "not yet" might imply that you aren’t ready to confront these feelings or that there is still work to be done before you can fully understand and integrate this message. It might also suggest that the timing isn't right for dealing with these emotions.
Waking Up Confused: Awakening with confusion may reflect your current state in navigating your feelings, the relationship, and what it means for your future. It suggests a need for further introspection to make sense of how you feel.
Overall, this dream seems to point toward your ongoing journey of processing emotions tied to your ex and signifies the importance of acknowledging and addressing these feelings at your own pace. It encourages you to reflect on what you truly need to comprehend about your past relationship before moving forward.
